HOW I WORK
WHO DO YOU WORK WITH?
I work with families and babies from 6 months upwards to develop a pattern of good sleep habits. This is on a one-to-one and individual basis. Each child and each family is different and unique and is treated as such.
I believe in a building a collaborative relationship with each family so that we can work out the best solutions together. Parents are the experts on their own children. I work to guide them, support them and to give them the confidence to help their child learn good sleeping skills.
I work with clients all over Ireland and internationally.
WHERE WILL THE CONSULTATION TAKE PLACE?
Ideally, I prefer to meet each family in person and will travel to your home.
If you are located over 1 hour's drive from Galway, a small travel surcharge will apply.
If it is not possible for us to meet in person, then I will carry out a consultation over Skype/Facetime/Whatsapp/phone.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
I schedule our consultation which typically takes 1.5 hours or so. I do encourage both parents to attend if at all possible.
You, the parents, complete a client history form which outlines your child's routine and sleep issues.
During the consultation, we will discuss the information that you have provided on your form in a little more detail and I will talk to you about your child's sleep issue and potential solutions. Together we will devise a step-by-step plan that you are comfortable with and which is appropriate for your family.
Following our consultation, I provide ongoing support in the form of phone calls and also emails/messages for one month. I typically call you at a suitable time for you to check how you are doing, how your night was, discuss any questions you may have and to adjust our plan when necessary.
WHAT PROBLEMS CAN YOU HELP WITH?
I can help with any sleep issues, including the following:
Your baby cannot sleep without the breast or bottle
Your baby wakes during the night and cannot go back to sleep without the breast or bottle
Your baby or child wakes frequently during the night
Your baby must be rocked or held to sleep or go back to sleep
Your baby will only sleep on you
Your child refuses to sleep in their own cot or bed
Your child goes to sleep in their own cot or bed but you end up bringing them into your own bed during the night.
You regularly have to sleep in your child's bed or bedroom

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Please find a breakdown of my prices and packages here.
DO I HAVE TO STOP BREASTFEEDING, SHARING A ROOM OR TAKE AWAY THE DUMMY/DODY?
Absolutely not. None of this is necessary for a good night's sleep and I will never ask you to do something that you are not comfortable with.
